Business description:
Our client is a chilled, fresh, natural food manufacturer with a £400million turnover, making and selling food and drinks in chilled, ambient and frozen food categories growth across 3 groups: Soup and Meat Free; Chilled drinks, fruit and desserts; Grocery - Jams, Spreads and Jellies.
Role: (Specific Tasks)
This is a very hands on role. The graduate will be required to work on the factory floor to monitor the quality of the products arriving and leaving the site. It will involve working with procurement department and making sure that the raw material that arrives on site is of a top quality and ensure the same for the ready products that leaves the site.
Person Specification:
• Food Science graduate/Agriculture with Agronomy graduate or equivalent
• Be articulate with excellent written and verbal skills (English)
• Be hardworking and willing to learn
• Have proven leadership skills
• Have good IT skills
• Able to work with others in a team
• Bilingual/multilingual graduates are welcome to apply
• Driving licence
Further Info:
The clear aim is for the graduate to transfer into permanent employment with the company at the end of the placement, if they have proven themselves. The salary after the placement would be in the region of £25,000.
