Job Details:
1. To fully understand your area of responsibility and the role you play as part of a team.
2. To work in accordance with creating ‘right first time’ operating system.
3. To ensure the materials and product are handled in a hygienic environment, safely and to specification in compliance with Food Legislation site codes of practice.
4. To ensure good hygiene and housekeeping standards are employed at all times.
Job Purpose
1. To ensure the correct raw materials and packaging are available at the work site prior to start of production.
2. To start up, run and shut down designated plant to set procedures.
3. To follow the daily production plan or department schedule ensuring due care and attention is made with the identification of variety and product types.
4. To ensure the correct quality of product is produced / packed with regard to quality assurance systems and procedures.
5. To train others as requested by the management team in areas of your own expertise.
6. To report errors and or non conformance to specification of product in an efficient and timely manner.
7. To legibly complete the required paperwork as required by company's procedure.
8. To be compliant in the use of moving / non moving mechanical machinery.
9. To be competent with the use of pallet and / or fork lift trucks as required by the department you are based.
All candidates must have good level of spoken and written English and proven background in food manufacturing.

This is a full time position (39 hrs per week) working nights.
Pay rate is £8.54 + Shift Allowance.
