Picking / Warehouse Operative
Job description
No experience required as training is given.
The main duties of the role will be the use of MHE equipment within a large racked and aisled warehouse to pick a range of clothing. Stacking the items in boxes guided by digital wrist AMT's. Colleagues are targeted and measured on performance pick rate and ongoing training and coaching is provided to ensure target delivery is reached and sustained.
This is a role which includes some heavy lifting and repetitive actions in the picking and stacking of the pallets, a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and awareness of other colleagues whilst pulling the pump trucks.
Other duties may include put away, loading and unloading and site hygiene.
The duties involve using electronic hand held terminals to pick and despatch clothing, this is light work with no heavy lifting involved.
Hours & Days of Work
The distribution centre operates 24/7, you will be required to work weekends, bank holidays on a single shift from the following: (06.30-14.30, 14.30-22.30, 22.15-06.15)
